MICHAEL OF VOLATERRA, CONFESSOR
Michael was a confessor at Volaterra in Etruria. He died at the age of one hundred in A.D. 1540. Although only a lay brother, by his humility, patience and devotion, he had been a true ornament of the Order of Saint Francis of Assisi. This holy man is listed by both Artur* and the Bollandists*.
