PEDRO GARROVILLAS, MISSIONARY

Pedro Garrovillas (Petrus Garobiliae) was a missionary in the West Indies. He brought the good news of Jesus Christ to the natives there and founded numerous Christian communities. He died in the West Indies c. 1540. (II. 618 and Julii IV. 579). He is remembered on April 19 and July 19.
