Saints celebrated on the 1st of June
PETER OF CÎTEAUX, MONK
At first, Peter was a disciple of the abbot Robert of Molesme, whence he entered the Cistercian monastery of Citeaux. There he distinguished himself particularly for his pious works. He is called "blessed" in the menology of the Order.
