Saint Anthony (Migne* calls him Antoine de Girace) and Blessed Nicodemus were monks of the Order of Saint Basil (Basilius) in Gerace or Gieraci (Hieracum, formerly the town of the Locres), not far from Reggio in southern Italy. They lived in the 10th century.
On August 23, Saint Anthony's name is listed in the Roman Martyrology* of the Order of Saint Basil.
