Saints celebrated on the 3rd of July
SAINT DATHUS, BISHOP OF RAVENNA
Saint Dathus (Datus) was the seventh bishop of Ravenna after Saint Apollinaris. Designated bishop of this church by a dove landing on him, Dathus presided over it for nine years and died about the year A.D. 185. In the Roman Martyrology* his name is spelled Datus.
