Saints celebrated on the 9th of July
Saint Felix was bishop of Genoa, successor to Saint Valentine (Valentinus). Saint Felix testified of his holy life by several miracles. Among others, the legend tells that Saint Syrus (who after his death succeeded Felix in the episcopal See) once, while Felix was offering the most holy sacrifice, saw a flame hovering over the holy bishop's head and the hand of the Lord shining in it. The saint is thought to have lived in the fourth century.
