SAINT FELIX IN PINCIS, PRIEST AND MARTYR
Saint Felix (in Pincis), a priest and martyr at Rome, was killed by boys with sharpened pencils because he was a Christian. The manner of his martyrdom is usually chosen for his pictorial representation. He probably has the suffix in Pincis because he was martyred in the area of Monte Pincio (Mons Pincius) or at the former Pincian Gate (Porta Pinciana) in Rome.
