SAINT FELIX OF FRITZLAR, MARTYR
Saint Felix, a monk at Fritzlar (Frislariae), proclaimed the Word of God with the greatest zeal, and after much arduous labour in the Lord's vineyard received the martyr's crown. This happened in the eighth century, it seems, at the hands of the Saxons, who were still pagans at the time.
