SAINT IDABERGA, VIRGIN
Saint Idaberga (Iduberga) was a virgin in England, whose relics are believed to have been taken to the monastery of Saint Winocus (Vinoxberg) in Bergues-on-the-Colme/Flanders in A.D. 1038. Her mortal remains were lost during the attack on this monastery in A.D. 1558. Who exactly she was, however, and in what century she lived, etc., is not really specified by the Bollandists*. This saint has been taken by some to be identical with Saint Edburge.
