Saints celebrated on the 24th of July
SAINT VALERIAN, BISHOP OF CIMIEZ
Saint Valerian (Valerius, Valerianus) was bishop of Cemelium (Cimiez) in the Maritime Alps. This See was later transferred to Nice by Pope Leo I. Saint Valerian died probably in A.D. 451. He attended a synod of Riez in 439 and is also known as a writer.
