VENERABLE THEODORIC, RELIGIOUS
Theodoric (Theodoricus), a Minorite, is particularly remembered for his heroic sacrifices in the service of plague victims. He died on December 11, 1515. Since his relics were raised on September 12, 1618, with the permission of the superiors, and transferred to the hospital chapel at Louvain, he can certainly be counted among the venerable.
Venerable Theodoric is also remembered on September 12 and February 2.
