Saints celebrated on the 30th of May
BLESSED CONSTANTIA CIRA AND BLESSED MARIA FERNANDEZ, VIRGINS
Constantia Xira and Maria Fernandez, with the suffix "of the poor life", lived themselves in holy voluntary poverty and served others with their manual labour.
Both were born in Portugal and joined the Order of Augustinian hermits, in which the former is said to have been an abbess. However, only in the case of the latter it is proven that she definitely belonged to this Order. Constantia and Maria died in the 15th century.
