Saints celebrated on the 12th of March

DIOCLES, MONK

Diocles was first a philosopher and then a monk in the Theban Desert. Some hagiographers refer to him as "Saint Diocles." His public veneration, however, cannot be proven. According to Migne* (Appendix) he died at the beginning of the 4th century.
