HERMANN HEYDER, RELIGIOUS
Hermann Heyder (Hermannus) was a Franciscan who became a victim of charity in Thuringia. In A.D. 1671, he buried his confrere Gregorius, who had died of the plague and whom nobody wanted to bury. Not long after, he himself died of this highly contagious disease. (Hub. Men.)
