SAINT ANASTASIUS, MARTYR
The name Athanasius means immortality in Greek. - Saint Athanasius, surnamed Commentariensis (presumably because he had been a court clerk), was killed for the faith in Cilicia. His companion in martyrdom was Saint Zosimus.
