ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL
Saints celebrated on the 5th of April
Saint Honorius (also Honoratus), a martyr surnamed Magnus (the Great), suffered in Sicily. Since the Saracens ruled this island for more than 300 years, it is of little surprise that the records of many saints who lived and were martyred here have been lost. The name of this Saint Honorius, however, is listed in many manuscripts of the older Roman Martyrology* (I. 398).
