Saints celebrated on the 2nd of December
SAINT NONNUS, BISHOP OF EDESSA
Today, we also commemorate Saint Nonnus. The Roman Martyrology states:
"At Edessa, Saint Nonnus, bishop, by whose prayers the penitent Pelagia was converted to Christ."
PRAYER:
Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Nonnus may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
