Saints celebrated on the 19th of May
SAINT EUBIOTUS, MARTYR
This saint died a natural death around the year 318 near Cyzicum (an old Thessalian-Pelasgian trading town situated on a stretch of land in the Propontis).
He still bears the title of martyr, though, because he had to endure much bullying, persecution, and great torments at the hands of the pagans. All this was well worth it, because he proclaimed the Gospel with zeal and conviction, and quite a few pagans turned to the true faith. Philetaerus is listed alongside him. (IV. 310)
Saint Eubiotus is also commemorated on December 18.
