EULOGIUS, HERMIT OF THEBAIS
Eulogius, priest and hermit in Thebais, had received from God, among other things, the quality of reading the hearts of those whom he distributed Holy Communion, seeing whether they were in a state of grace or not. If the latter was the case, he refused the Bread of Angels to the sinner in question. By the way, this holy Eulogius seems to be identical with this holy priest Eulogius. (Mg.)
