SAINT BASILIUS AND COMPANIONS, MARTYRS


Saints Basilius, Rufinus, Isidore, Eugenian, Celsus and Anastasius died as martyrs. According to some sources, they suffered in Italy (Apulia, Calabria), according to others in Sicily or in Africa. These holy men are commemorated on April 9.
