Saint Esaias (Isaias) was a martyr at Caesarea in Palestine.
Esaias, incidentally, is a less correct way of spelling this name, because in Hebrew is more likely to be read as "Isaias." In the Greek, which is followed by the Vulgate [Bible translation], the name is rendered as "Isaias," which is why we will list the well-known prophet of that name as Isaias (Isaiah).
