Saint Etheldritha was a daughter of the Mercian king Offa, born around the year 770. She is not to be confused with Abbess Ethelreda of Ely. (Aug. I. 173)
Saint Etheldritha is also commemorated on March 28, [May 20], August 2, and August 4.
