SAINT EUGENIUS, BISHOP
Saint Eugenius was a bishop who preached the gospel in ancient Liguria (the stretch of coast from Provence to Livorno). After a lifetime of service to God and neighbour, he died on a nearby island, and is venerated at Noli (Naulum), in the former Duchy of Genoa, along with Saints Ennius and Euginius.
