Saints celebrated on the 21st of May
SAINT EULOGIUS, BISHOP
Saint Eulogius, commemorated on May 21, was one of those bishops of Egypt who were expelled from their sees by the Arians. This happened during the reign of Constantius II. (337-361), the son of Constantine the Great. After his father's death, following the division of the empire, Constantius had received Thrace, Asia, and Egypt, and sadly was soon won over to the heresy of Arius. (v. 29)
