SAINT EUPHRASIA, MARTYR
Saint Euphrasia suffered for her faith in the days of Diocletian and Maximian under the prefect Priscillian of Nicaea in Bithynia. Her chest and sides were mangled, a bed of glowing coals prepared, and the worst torments inflicted on her with pointed tools. After two years of imprisonment, she was finally thrown into the sea.
