Saints celebrated on the 1st of May
SAINT EUPHROSYNUS, BISHOP
Saint Euphrosynus, who is commemorated on May 1, was a bishop from Pamphilia. He made a journey to Rome, and on his return came to Etruria, preached the gospel at Panzano, and healed many sick persons. Foreseeing his death, he indicated the place where he should be buried. In due course, a church was also built on this spot, which was dedicated to him. (I. 139)
