ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN OCTOBER

SAINT EUSTERIUS, BISHOP OF SALERNO
Saint Eusterius was the fourth bishop of Salerno, but his acts [the biography] have been lost, so nothing can be said of him except that he lived towards the middle of the fifth century and, after his death, was interred in the crypt of the cathedral there. His festival was celebrated at different times on different days. The Roman Martyrology* features his name on October 19. (VIII. 436)
