SAINT REGULUS, ABBOT OF CULDERS
Saint Regulus [Saint Rule] was Abbot of Culders (Kileurum) and Bishop of Aberdeen (Aedreopolis) in Scotland. He is said to have brought the relics of the apostle Saint Andrew to Scotland. There is no reliable biography of him. He is also commemorated on March 30. The Neobollandists* suggest that the priest Damian (Damianus), as well as the deacon Aneglas and the holy Virgin Murena lived in the 9th century as his contemporaries. (VIII. 163-176)
