ALL SAINTS CELEBRATED IN APRIL
Saints celebrated on the 29th of April
These saints are also known as Martyrs of Corfu (Corcyra), and as The Seven Robbers: Saturninus, Insicholus, Faustian, Januarius, Marsalius, Euphrasius and Mammius. They are said to have been robbers and were already in a violent haste when Saint Jason and Sosipater were thrown into the same prison for preaching the gospel. At their word, God called them to join the ranks of his believers. They were thrown into boiling pitch mixed with sulfur and wax, and under this torture they died in Christ. (III. 613)
