SAINTS EUPREXIA AND THEOGONIA
Saint Euprexia, Widow, and Saint Theogonia, Virgin, who are commemorated on January 5, are mother and daughter, originally from Mineo (Menae) in Sicily. Around the year 280, during the reign of Valerian, they received from Rome the body of Saint Agrippina, whose memory the Roman Martyrology* celebrates on June 23. (I. 240)
