Saints celebrated on the 20th of March
BLESSED EVANGELIST AND BLESSED PEREGRINE
The names Evangelist, Evangelista, as well as the names Evangelius and Evangelus, are derived from Greek, meaning to bring good news.
Blessed Evangelist (Evangelista) and Peregrine (Peregrinus) lived in the 13th century, became famous for virtue and miracles as hermits of the Augustinian Order and were buried in the church of Saint Euphemia at Verona. The Augustinian martyrology* lists their names on March 20. (VI. 342)
(They are also commemorated on July 12 and 26.)
