WELCOME!

ODDO, ABBOT OF SAINT SAVIN

Oddo, a godly Benedictine of Ancy-le-Duc (Enziacum), bishopric of Autun, was instructed to re-establish good monastic discipline at the abbey of Saint Savin at Poitiers.  Among his virtues, his persistent zeal in prayer is particularly praised, for which he received great graces from the Lord even during his earthly life. This fact is testified by those who sometimes overheard him in his devotions. Oddo died around A.D. 895. (Lech.)
