OLIVER MAILARD, CONFESSOR
Oliver Mailard (Oliverius) a confessor in Toulouse, is listed as "Blessed Oliver" by Artur*; the Bollandists*, however, mention this holy man among the Praetermissi. He belonged to the Franciscan Order and was held in high esteem by popes and kings. Adorned in life with the gift of prophecy, he was glorified by miracles after his death in A.D. 1502. (V. 116)
