SAINT EVANTIUS, BISHOP OF VIENNE
Saint Evantius (Eventius) was a bishop of Vienne in France. Ancient documents show that in this role he participated in A.D. 581 in the first and 584 in the second council of Mascon; he was also present at the third council of Lyons in 582, and in 584 at the second council of Valence. He died in 586 on January 13, but is venerated on February 3. (I. 365)
