Saints celebrated on the 14th of October
SAINT EVARISTUS, MARTYR
The name Evaristus is Greek, meaning the very best.
Saint Evaristus was the brother of Saint Fortunata. He suffered death by the sword in Caesarea in Palestine. His name is also listed in the Roman Martyrology* on October 14.
