SAINT MODAN, BISHOP OF BUCHANAN
According to the Elenchus*, Saint Modan (Modanus) was a bishop "in Buchania" (Buchanan). He probably is identical with Saint Modan, because Buchanan is part of Stirlingshire, where the latter's activities were based, and where he is also venerated.
