Saints celebrated on the 15th of May
Orestes, remembered on May 15, a patriarch and martyr of Jerusalem, of noble family, a converted Mohammedan, had to endure most cruel punishments because of his steadfastness in the Christian faith, and was beheaded afterwards. These events took place in A.D. 1006. Some sources list this holy man on May 17 or May 18. (III. 441)
