PASCHASIUS, PRIEST
Burgener* (II. 223) lists Paschasius with the title "Saint." A priest in Chateau-Landon in the district of Sens, Paschasius led a spiritual life in a community of priests. He is known for having granted hospitality to the abbot Severin of Saint Moritz (Saint-Maurice) shortly before the latter's death and to have buried him. Severin died in A.D. 512 [507]; from this we deduct that Paschasius flourished at the beginning of the sixth century.
