Saints celebrated on the 24th of June
PETER MARTIAL, RELIGIOUS AND MARTYR
Peter Martial (Petrus Martialis) was a lay brother of the Order of the Minorites. Originally from Provence in France, he went to Tartary with six other missionaries of his Order, among them Francis (Franciscus), Laurence (Laurentius), Pascal (Paschalis), Richard of Burgundy, and John (Johannes) and received the palm of martyrdom on June 24, 1342 at Armalech (J.M.R.).
