SAINT ORIENTIUS, BISHOP OF AUCH
Saint Orientius, bishop of Auch (Ausciorum) is the fifth in the line of succession. In the Gallia Christiana*, the years 323 to 364 are assigned to his office, while the Bollandists* reckon that he flourished in the first half of the fifth century. He is the patron saint of Auch. According to Migne*, some of his relics are kept in Toulouse. (I. 61-64. VII. 530)
