Saints celebrated on the 24th of May
(SS. Optatus et Policarnus, M.M.)
The memory of Saints Optatus and Policarnus (the latter is also spelled Polycarp [Polycarpus]) is celebrated by the Roman nuns of S. Silvestro in Campo Marzo. According to the inscription on the church portal, the martyrs' relics are kept there. (V. 270. Piazza.)
