Saints celebrated on the 11th of May
LAETA OF ROME
Laeta, a noble Roman matron, had been taught by
Saint Jerome. So excellent was her progress in the science of the saints, that the Art. Gyn.* lists her as Saint Laeta. Saint Jerome wrote her a letter, and Baronius*, in his Annals of the Year 410, proclaims her praise by calling her a very famous woman (II. 611).
