According to the very ancient martyrologies, Saint Gaulienus suffered at Gerona (Gerunda) in Catalonia; his companions were: German (Germanus), Victurus, Silvanus, Telesphorus, Victurinus, Donatus, Istialus, Tertius (Tertus), Rogatus, another Germanus, and Silvanus; also Honorius, Cecilia (Cicilia), Tertula, Lautica, Victoria, Fortunata, Maxima, Rogata, Paulica, Agapia (Appia), Castula, Amelia, another Tertula, Lupus, Justus, Thecla and Firmus (VII. 435).
