WELCOME!

SAINT PATRICK II., BISHOP OF ARMAGH

Saint Patrick (Patricius), was a holy bishop and confessor of Gladston (Glastonia[Glastonbury]), a son of Senanus, a brother of Saint Patrick who, after the death of this great missionary, ascended the primate chair of Armagh (Ardmacha), which he occupied until A.D. 470. His holy relics probably rest at Gladston, although Resdela also claims to possess some of them (VI. 833).

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that the venerable feast of Saint Patrick may increase our devotion and promote our salvation. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen.
