SAINT PAULINUS, MARTYR OF ROME

Along with mortal remains of Saints Fulgentius, Innocent (Innocentius), Fortunatus, Erasmus, Valentine (Valentinus), and Pacificus, Saint Paulinus' head relic was transferred from Rome to Bologna in A.D. 1662. There, at the parish church of Saint Mamolus (San Mamolo), all those remains were solemnly interred (I. 436).

PRAYER:

Grant, we beseech you, almighty God, that we who celebrate the anniversary of the death of your holy martyrs Paulinus and companions, may by their intercession be delivered from all evils that threaten us. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. Amen
