Saints Pileus (Peleus) and Pilus [Nilus], two bishops, Elias [Elijah], a presbyter, as well as Patermuthius [Pa-Termuthes] and 150 others, some Egyptian, some Palestinian Christians, were martyred about A.D. 310 during the Diocletian persecution (VI. 21-23).
