Saints celebrated on the 11th of May
SAINTS WALBERT AND BERTILIA OF HAINAULT
Saints Walbert (Walbertus) and Bertilia (Bertha), the parents of Saints Waltrude and Adelgundis (Aldegonde) are venerated in the Hainault area.
After raising the family they separated amicably to join monasteries. Walbert died between the years 655 and 661, his wife a little later. They were buried at Curtissolra, now called Consorle (Nord Department) in the diocese of Cambrat. Their intercession was invoked for a long time. The first elevation of their relics took place as early as 678.
