Saints celebrated on the 30th of December
SAINT LAURENTIUS, ABBOT
Saint Laurentius [Lorenzo], a priest and abbot of the Order of St Basil at Frazanone [Frazzanò] in Sicily, is mentioned by Ferrarius* in the list of Italian saints on April 30. The same is listed in the Elenchus* on December 30. Ferrarius* obtained St Laurentius' feast day from the Sicilian Martyrology of Octavius Cajetanus.
[St Laurentius died on December 30, 1162 in the Demenna Monastery (today San Filippo di Fragalà, Italy).]
