Saints celebrated on the 17th of April
Conrad of Stongle (Conradus de Stonglem), a Franciscan of the Saxon province, died at Kirchberg in 1365.
The Franciscan Martyrology (Franciscanerisches Martyrologium) by Arthur Du Monstier, 1644, adds that Conrad was famous for miracles (Conradus Stonglemius: miraculis clarus); and Augustinus de Witte writes in his 1627 index of Franciscans that on April 27 the passing of the blessed Confessor Conrad of Stongle took place, who shone with miracles before and after death.
