 WELCOME!

JOHN AND DIDACUS, MARTYRS OF GENEVA

John (Juan), commemorated on December 31 and March 24, and Didacus (Diego) were Franciscans who, holding the crucifix in their hands, preached to the Calvinists in Geneva. They were stoned to death for this in 1601 by an angry mob. Originally from Spain, they had been on a journey to Rome. (Hub. Men.)
